WOW!  Way to go MPKids

a church-wide Christmas-time Event

Wednesday, November 30th

Dinner  and caroling begin at 5:45

(proceeds benefit the summer 2012 youth mission trip)

Activities begin at 6:15

Enter the ancient city of Bethlehem during the time of the census.  Sign the official census and receive your Roman dnarii (coins) to spend throughout the marketplace.

The inn will be bustling with activity!  Stop here to make a comfy pillow as a reminder of your "stay" in Bethlehem.

What is that large, new star in the sky?  Visitors from the East will will tell you what they believe the star signifies, and you can make a dazzling star viewer to get a better look!

A trip to this region wouldn't be complete without a trip to the palace to see where King Herod hangs his crown!  You may want to make a crown of your own while you are there.

Shepherds will guide you through the stable and introduce you to a very special-but weary-couple and their newborn. Talk with Mary and Joseph and find out what it was like to make such a journey as theirs and discover that God uses ordinary people to fulfill his promise.  Make a sheep ornament while you are there. What a remarkable reminder of God's amazing love for us!

Stop at the carpenter's shop to make a toy as a take-home reminder of One Starry Night!

A more modern "marketplace" will be open for children to purchase small gifts for family and friends.  No item will cost more than $5.00.  Proceeds benefit the summer 2012 youth mission trip.
