Stewardship
Here at Central we believe in stewardship as a way of life. Stewardship is so much more than an annual financial campaign; it’s how we live out our lives by giving back to God through our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness. When anyone joins Central, these are the expectations of membership, and we look forward to walking together with you on the journey. Each fall we have a different stewardship emphasis to get us focused on the year ahead. Here’s specifically what stewardship at Central looks like:
Prayers: Praying for the church and its leaders on a regular basis, knowing how important it is to have that daily connection with God.
Presence: Attending church when you’re not sick or out of town, knowing how important it is to have that weekly connection with God and one another.
Gifts: Giving financially to the church, knowing how important it is to offer back to God a portion of all that He has given you. We encourage you to consider making a financial pledge to the church, as the Lord leads you, which greatly helps the Finance Committee set the annual operating budget for the church.
Service: Serving the church in some area, knowing how important it is to use the gifts God has given you within the Body of Christ. This is done through our Every Member in Ministry program.
Witness: Sharing the message of the Gospel in the community, knowing how important it is to represent Christ to your friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, and all who you meet.
