Tiny Tots Preschool

Tiny Tots Preschool is designed to help each child learn with more joy, more meaning, more purpose, and more satisfaction so that they might make a smoother transition into elementary school. We hope to pave the way to successful learning, coupled with the sheer joy of discovering new and different concepts though reading, writing, oral language, listening, math, science, socialization, art, music and physical education. Tiny Tots is offered to three- and four-year olds and is based on the public school system entry birth dates. Four-year-olds attend for a half day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Monday through Friday. Three-year-olds attend on Tuesday and Thursday or Monday, Wednesday, Friday. You need not be a church member for your child to attend. For more information, contact Libby Meredith, director, at 366-8152.

Mother’s Day Out

The Mother’s Day Out program of Central United Methodist Church exists to provide some much needed play time for children and away time for parents. Our goal for this ministry is to give each child a wide variety of social and physical activities, while enhancing emotional and spiritual growth. Children participate in chapel time, crafts, music, imaginative play and creative movement. All children, whether members of CUMC or not, from three months old until they enter kindergarten are welcome to attend. MDO is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For more information, call Lisa Rogers, director, at 659-1035.

Central Child Care Center

The Central Child Care Center is an outreach program of Central United Methodist Church to provide full-time childcare for children. CCCC is designed to provide a safe, happy and healthy learning and growing environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our primary objective is to help each child attain his/her greatest potential by providing a positive self-concept through educational, emotional and physical development. CCCC is partially funded by the United Way and is a charitable, non-profit corporation that strives to help meet the needs of low income families, as well as others. For information, call Valerie Owen, Director, at 636-1224.
