Halftime: Moving from Success to Significance: Join Greg and Rev. Dawn Spragg as they guide participants through this 6 week study by Bob Burford, geared towards people from their 40s and up. We may not be experiencing a mid-life crisis, but possibly a “smoldering discontent” as we search for significance.  We often find ourselves at this stage of life wondering if we are really using our strengths, knowledge and experience to the greatest advantage.  We become restless as we aren’t ready to retire but are becoming dissatisfied with what we have accomplished and wonder if there is more that we are missing.  Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 beginning January 11th. Room 205 Books can be ordered from Amazon.com.

Prayer Study: The seven week study, The Intercessory Life, is a pattern for our interior growth in prayer as well as the outward expression of a missional Christ-life in the world. Maxie Dunnam (author of the 7 Deadly Sins) challenges us to get beyond the cozy comforts of a devotional life and teaches practical ways to bring the world into the prayer closet and to unleash the power of prayer in our everyday world.  Join Rev. Carness Vaughan Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 beginning January 11th in the Chapel. Books can be ordered through seedbed.com

Really Bad Girls of the Bible: Eight of the Bible’s most notorious females strut across the pages of Really Bad Girls of the Bible with troubles that still hit home in the twenty-first century. This study shines a spotlight on God’s sovereignty, demonstrating one life-changing truth: God rules the lives of those He loves with mercy, compassion, and hope. Join Vivian Dunnaway for 8 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 beginning January 11th. Room 204.
