There will be no youth activities tonight, including Confirmation. The church office will be closed tomorrow, Monday December 9th. The Central Women Tour of Homes has been postponed and rescheduled for Thursday, December 19th.
We will still have our regular Sunday morning schedule tomorrow. If you think it is not safe to drive, please feel free to stay home and listen to our 11:00 service on KURM (790 am or 100.3 fm). However, if you are going stir crazy and need to get out, we'd love to have you in worship and Sunday School in the morning! Because of the weather, we will be postponing the Cantata until next Sunday the 15th at the 11:00 service, as well as all the handbell groups.
Due to the winter weather, the Church Office will be CLOSED on Friday, December 6th. But worship will continue on Sunday, December 8th as scheduled with our regular worship times.

Worshiping the Gift and the Giver
(By Claire Cloninger and Gary Rhodes)
will be presented by the
Chancel Choir and King’s Kids
Sunday, December 8, 11:00 a.m.
Jesus is the Gift of Christmas as well as
the giver of the gift!
This poignant theme is the thread that is woven
throughout the course of this Christmas presentation.
The cantata involves narrators and adult and children’s choirs.
The story line begins with Mary and Joseph as they reflect on
the difficult situation they find themselves in before Christ’s birth.
The beautiful and introspective “Breath of Heaven” and
“What Can I Give?” provide this musical dialogue and prayer
between Mary, Joseph, and God.
The musical ends with the powerful ballad, “The Gift of a Lifetime,”
and the extended Finale, with opportunities for congregational
involvement in a victorious conclusion!
